what mm size clutch would i need for a year 2000 classic shape uk turbo 2000,thanks

iirc it has a 225mm clutch, should be listed on ebay if you search it

hummmm,ive just bought a 230mm exedy for my my99 uk turbo! this is correct isnt it?

225mm is OEM.

230mm will fit, altought I think you may have to modify the flywheel in some way (which escapes me what it is you have to do... if anything?!)

my mapper told me months ago to get a 230mm clutch,and he will be supplying flywheel,so u think its worth mentioning?thanks joz!

Yeah, tell him everything about your clutch: make, type, size, etc. Then he's got as much info a sposs - can only be helpful...

well he will be doing all the fitting of new clutch and flywheel anyway so they should see!

Think you'll find the 225mm clutch was standard fit on early 93-96 cars, 230mm after.

is a 230mm better than a 225mm then? just dont want it costing me extra because im supplying the wrong clutch,even tho thats what he advised me to get?

Bigger the better, like for like.

Flywheel will need skimming if coming from a 225mm clutch - I always skim the flywheel on a clutch change anyhow.

There you go 99gw, just a skim needed for the 230mm clutch - that's what I thought (but thought it was something else seeing as it would be skimmed as a matter of course, anyway) lol.

brand new lightweight flywheel going in anyway,confirmed with mapper today,all will fit!booked in for april 27th,vf35 etc etc, cheers joz!
