i have a 97 scooby turbo wagon EJ20 (the party bus) its been running fine until today i did a 50 mile trip and all ok but on way back on the motorway if i put my foot down it would start to boost and then bang its like hitting a wall, it does it in any gear at any speed is this boost cut, fuel cut? any help much appreciated, cheers Andy.

 

Nah, doesn't sound like boost/fuel cut, usually only happens at WOT in 4th and 5th. You could of dropped a plug or coil pack

 

been out in the party bus today and as if by magic it was fine, didn't do it at all, must have been a visit from the mechanic fairies lol
