Default pwer figures needed

i,am looking to get my uk clissic into the 10 seconds bracket on the 1/4 mile strip any ideas what sort of power will get me there i am lookig to make the car light as possible so that i i dont have to push crazy power any ideas to help me out would be greatly appreciated

I would say 500bhp in a car weighing 1100kg should get you into the 10s

someone watch the fast and the furious on itv2 last night? itll cost alot too wont it about7-8k?

performance calculator says, 508bhp 1200kg car with awd will do a 10.99 @ 131mph, about 15-20k would be my guess

7-8k that sounds like a deal for 500bhp prob only do one 10 sec run then fall apart like brians car .i would just tune what you have now and see what you can get out of it before it goes BANG best i know is 448 bhp on standard internals GOOD LOOK keep us all posted in what you decide to do

Or 1010kg and 450bhp awd will give a 10.99 @ 129mph, again pc figures about 10k for this one.

I would go for the fast and furious route , those neon’s add a load of power ,

sorry back on topic, just goes to show how important weight saving is also seem to be a neglected aspect of tuning Subaru’s, chasing figures always seems to come 1st well for me anyway
