Just a quickie guys as im trying to identify an overfueling issue with my bugeye.

Car is tottaly standard apart from bailey bov and fully de-cated exhaust system.

I have a boost gauge and the car is boosting at about 0.8 bar.
Is this normal???

I beleive it should be around 13-14psi, so yes 0.8 bar sounds about right.

If you use super unleaded you might make up to nearly .9 bar, you do on mine with a fresh tank of V- power in it.

 

Yeah always use s-unleaded and often fill up at shell when i see one. they are few and far between where i live.

Am i right in saying that even tho it could possibly boost at .9 to .95 bar it would be safe on the engine?
