bought redline mag other day, there is an article about DV's they testing with and without on a few timed runs of all sorts. OM DV was upto 3/4 of a second on 1 run, and OM DV better on every run they did. But then stated that they tested on a different car and the OM DV was worse, but only but .1 of a second, then stated that they could not find any improvements 3/4 of a second with standard, .1 with DV thats a big disadvantage over standard standard DV all the way.

Unless you are pushing past 400bhp or have fmic fitted then a KnN or Green panel filter in the OE airbox is best, as for DV i think that is more to do with personal taste as its not a performance mod, whoooosh, chirp or silent

Not had my scoob long but fitted a bailey dump valve after a few days, loved it at first but to be honest got a bit bored with the sound after a while and have now taken it off. Must say the car feels alot smoother with it off and it seems to be more responsive with the OE one fitted. Alot of peole have reproted problems with aftermarket dump valves but do what ever makes you happy. Mines gonna go on flea bay soon! I'm running the standard panel filter and am happy with it for now but when I servie the scoob I may fit a green panel filter, may even get one with the money I make from the dump valve!
