3 port boost solenoid

hi all i keep seeing 3port solenoids up for sale i have a uk turbo is this something my car has or i can upgrade to cheers jamie

The 3 port solenoid was fitted to pre 97 cars and allows for better boost control but would only change to it if you decide to mod beyond 300bhp.

JAMSCOOB. People often make the upgrade when getting the car remapped- depending on the advice of the mapper, but it has to be fitted right before the map (no big headache) as the car will not run properly with it on the std map, which is expecting the 2 port!
