Launch control
Will be getting a Simtek ECU for my '95WRX soon but when talking to the tuner today he asked if i want Antilag and Launch control.
How would you use Launch control and would it really make a difference off the line?

Launch control is good fun if your gonna 1/4 the car. It holds 5000rpm with the foot flat to the floor and the clutch depressed. When you want to pull away just dump the clutch and get ready to ****** for 2nd gear

open-mapping.co.uk program your ECU without a ECUtek Licence being needed but it can only be done on newage cars

It appears none.
Back to topic, launch control is VERY hard on the car but also great fun too. Just be prepared to break stuff if you do it too often.

It can be set to whatever revs/boost are required to launch successfully.
Mine was originally set to 5500rpm with Eagle F1 tyres, but when the 888's where fitted it needed raising to 6000rpm and 1.3 bar to stop the car bogging down.
