hi everyone i got 2 question i brought a subaru impreza 2.0l turbo its a 4door and it is a import but it just a normal impreza not wrx or sti on 1994 i need a new turbo whats the best one i can get and is the origonal turbo a td04 in that car.

my second question is my frineds got a subaru also but yesterday his car was overheating and suddenly all this pressure started coming out of the bottom hose of the raidaitor and now it keeps loosing water as that pipe keeps dripping also sometime the car cuts out.
is that a major peoblem.

asuming the car is an import :

if thr car is a wrx saloon you have a td05 turbo which is a good turbo.
if the car is a wrx wagon then you have a td04. you could upgrade to a td05 so long as you swap the ecu as well.

asuming the car is a uk car
if you have a turbo 2000 saloon or estate then you have a td05.


you really dont need to think about upgrading the td05 to begin with as it can handle 300bhp plus
