Every time i climb out of my '95 Wrx it shocks the hell out of me and i cant figure out what it is. And its not a small shock, this is like a crack!

Can you think what it could be?

 

static electricity.....!! - several causes (dry weather, man-made fabrics) . you can get polish with anti-static properties (mr sheen...), try an earthing strip --- or dont touch anything as u get out of the car !!

 

touch the metal part of the car before you put your foot on the floor

 

Does your car do this too?

 

not recently -- had it in warm dry weather tho' .....!
