Default noisy walbro?

i have just put a walbro pump on my car, and it is very noisy, you can here it inside and outside the car, is this how its ment to be??

No, I wouldn't say so.

I had my WRX fuel pump changed to a Walbro 255 and ran that for about 3 years, it never made any intrusive or odd sounds (although perhaps a slight whhhrrrrr or buzz when it was being primed during ignition).

afew people have said that theirs whines abit but they all seem to be in fine working order.

I have the same thing, not loud or anything but you can hear it.
I haven't noticed anything wrong or different when driving.
I wouldn't worry to much.

yeah there dont seem to be anything wrong with it, and its working realy well, maybe thats just how it is then.
