Default first mod????

i have just bought a 2000 sport special edition 2 Ltr.

the only thing it has done to it is a backbox (and POSSIBLY a cheap air filter but that might be standard).

what would be the best thing to do on a low budget to increase the power?

Sell it and save up for a Turbo

I'm not being @rsey, any gains on an N/A engine are going to be minimal and not really worth it in the long run. Every pound you spend on this car is a pound you haven't got towards your next, and most mods cost many, MANY pounds. The usual stuff people go for would be an exhaust, filter or I/K, remap and some body stuff to try and look more 'Turbo'. Kiss goodbye to £1k+, or sell the Sport, add the £1k to it and easily upgrade to a better starting point.

scott, nothings cheap when it comes to modding and corradoboy is right, save up and px your sport, even if it takes a year to save

maybe you might be better having a look at the impreza sport site for ideas

im am 19.

a mate who owns a tuning garage owes me a favour as says he will remap my car for free. is this a good idea?

also, with the air intake and backbox aftermarket, could i reset my ecu just incase this hasn't been done?
