I am in the process of building a rally car and the donor is a 2003 UK spec WRX . I am fitting a 2004 STi engine. My question is was the 03 WRX variable valve system or not? If not is the loom compatable or would it need to be from an 04 STi?
Any help much appreciated.

Saw that thanks, are all other things like dash module etc compatible with STi loom if I go that way, guess it needs STi ECU too?
