Default Boost solenoid

Looking for advice please. I have an HKS boost controller fitted to my car at the moment but when the car was in the garage getting looked over etc they said it wasnt working properly, it was only boosting at .8bar due to the boost solenoid (I think?????) being faulty and not a part they could source new. They by passed and used the original which is boosting fine.

My question is this - Im looking to fix the boost controller if possible as I would like to add more mods, does anyone know if this part can source used perhaps from fleebay? Does this make any sense??
