the car wont be fuelling right as the turbo wont be getting the normal drive - also the engine fuellng will change as a result of change in back pressure

basically it'll be down on power a bit depending on how bad the 'blow' is

you can pick up used classic up pipe of ebay about £25 then spend about 3-4hrs fitting it, not difficult just time consuming getting to all the bolts.

I paid a tenner of e-bay for mine, as you say its a fiddly f**ker to do, but worth all the labour you'll be paying someone just to undo nuts 'n bolts!

yes but I removed the heatshield and loosened the downpipe bolts and upper up pipe bolts before jacking it up, You then jack it up remove the downpipe, exhaust heat shield and manifold, you need a lambda socket though to take that out first, then undo the engine mounting and jack it up about 2 inches so you can remove the up pipe from underneath

Wink uppipe removal

ya might and i say might ave to undo engine mounts .to give you enough lift to get the uppipe out .and dependant on bolt they might be a long stud and need a little cutting off them before said lift of the engine .

all a if but maybe of course
but all adding too the fiddle or said job

hope this helps though
