Default INDUCTION KIT ADVANTAGE

Hello

Does anyone know if k&n induction kits make a difference in power, especially when the car was remapped with a normal air filter kit fitted, i just dont know, me wife thinks the car runs smoother without the induction kit, but i was thinking of refitting the induction kit.

Strictly speaking your map has been set up to the mods as where, fitting an IK will unless fitted with a heat shield only draw in warm under bonnet air and not the nice cold dense air required.
Personally i would stick with the OE air box and fit a KnN or Green panel

1-0 to the Mrs

Pages 11-13 should help https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...ge-1-a-11.html

May help a little but still, will not be as dense as OE set up with new panel. You will lose a few ponies and it 'is' a smoother drive
