Default battery flat BUT alarm keeps going off!!

started happening at 3am today for about an hour!!!alarm kept going off and my fobs wouldnt work...i know its because the batterys flat but will the alarm eventually stop as the car wont even turn over now(been off road for 3 weeks).thanks for your replys as i think the alarm is p ing everyone off more than my vortex lol.Andy

just disconnect the battery

Or cancel the Double Lock and relock manually.

thats what i do, cos the ba$tard cats get on the car and the alarm goes off. never daytime either when every bugger is asleep!!

I feel your pain - this used to happen to me regularly when I wasn't using the car much... I was out in the garden at 2am undoing the 10mm nut at the battery terminal in only my pants more than once.

I started leaving the battery disconnected when I wasn't about to use the car for a while.
