I was just woundering if my car would pop any flames out.. its got a sports cat and magnex d/p. Im pretty sure it wont and if it does it will ruin the brick.. am i correct? i wat some flames and anti lag but im just worrid about the po-po pulling me and checking my C02 output
Can anyone shed some light on this

 

it will be pretty hard to get flames form a car that has a CAT in place

cats gotta go then i suppose.. ive heard of a bypass which splits in 2 via a motor.. 1 straight to atosphere and the other through the exhaust system.. anyone used one?

 

You,re car can have pops&bangs mapped into it, flames also on the over-run...

well i was thinking on the lines of this QUICK TIME PERFORMANCE: Electric Cutouts As i was going with simtek i can run two different maps?

 

iv got a de-cat down pipe and sports cat pops and bangs but no flames need the take the center cat out for the flames
taking mine out this week so should have some nice flames

iv just got a decat pipe and blitz system and it pops and bangs a treat and get the odd flame!!

 

but dont you get any trouble off the plod? my exhaust is stupidly loud, jst with sports cat n rear can.. duno how bad it would be :S

 

i havent done yet,but i always keep the silencer bung in the boot just incase!and take it easy around town etc and yes its loud when you give it some!awsome sound though!

never been bothered by 5-0 tho but does pray on your mind when they behind you

yep i no the feeling when they follow you, and your just waiting for it to pop and see the front of their car lit up by the flame!love it!

If the police are behind you just knock it into neutral rather than downshifting for junctions etc as mine pops and bangs then

 

Just one question lads does the popping and banging cause any damage to the exhaust? I had an RS Turbo years ago and I used to get flames out the back of that , and it always worried me the exhaust would be damaged?

 

mine does it no end, even get some bits of what i think is red hot baffle coming out the back after really giving it some, looks like sparks, wen the 5-0 r about stick it in the highest gear u got n chug along lol
