Exhaust manifold

I have an greddy exhaust manifold but im a bit confused as it has four exhaust pipes branching from it. It has two that go to the headders and one up pipe but anouther one next to the up pipe. Anyone help?

A picture would help, but it sounds like you have got a manifold that is meant for use with a external wastegate setup.

or you have bought the twin scroll ones which have 2 pipes for the uppipe.again a pic would help.
