Default URGENT...Please Help

Guys,
I have an early classic Ra that I am using as a track/fun car. The car has been tuned to 340bhp by Power Engineering. Walbro pump,440 injectors, fuel pressure regulator,FMIC, re mapped etc.
The car initially had a slight fault in that once in say a ten mile trip when accelerating it would judder almost as if the fuel wasn't getting through then it would be ok for the rest of the trip. This problem got a bit worse recently so I took it into a local garage to have the fault rectified. (In hindsight it should have either gone back to Power Engineering or another Scooby specialist). The car is in fact booked in with Scooby4U in Newbury this weekend.
So, back to the local garage. They changed a few induction hoses, didn't road test it and gave it back to me. The result was an unfixed car. I took it back and said have it and fix it. A week later they were still scratching their heads, obviously they didn't have any donor parts to check bits and pieces. They told me that the car was over boosting and thus cutting off the fuel so a fuel cut off defender was needed and the boost turned down. It was tuned at 1.0bar originally. To cut a long story short I picked the car up yesterday lunchtime, drove home slowly due to traffic but when I had a bit of a clear road the car is undriveable! As soon as the turbo kicks in the power cuts off as if the ignition has been cut, (it's that vicious). I noticed when collecting the car that they were sticking the ecu back and am now wondering....could they have wiped the mapped memory from the ecu and it has now reset itself back to its original setting. That would explain why the car just doesn't drive now as before when it was on form it went like a rocket with just the occassional hiccup. If they have wiped the chip I will need to recoup any additional expenses plus my original payment to them as the car is worse now then when it went in.
Has anyone had a similar problem or know if a different fault could cause this problem?
Please help as a week living with this problem is going to drive me round the bend. Many thanks in advance,
Mike
