I have an 05 model STI and was looking at changing the dump valve. Is the stock valve a recirculating setup.

Yes (all Impreza OEM dv's are recirc jobs).

 

Ok, thanks for that. Its my first Scooby and I've only had it a week.
In that week, I've ordered new wheels, new exhaust, springs, filter and fuel pump. Its booked for a remap with Andy F on the 12th March.
