Remap and a Turbo back exhaust should do the trick....

You'll get close to 300bhp with your current spec and a re-map, for 300bhp+ Comp fuel pump, uprated spark plugs, uprated turbo, re-map. for 330bhp you'll be looking at uprated filter, sports cat, and uprated tmic or fmic. your injectors are 505cc they'll get you to around 400bhp.

TBH, not sure if the GB270 actually puts out 270PS, but with the std turbo you're not going to gain that much. You will loose any remaining warranty however..!

The TD04 remapped will put out a MAX of 290bhp with a fully de-catted system and maybe less. Response may well improve and low down grunt definitely will be better, but that's going to cost you £1000 at least and I'm not sure you'll feel the benefit over the std setup..!?

What I'd do is go for a bigger turbo, say a VF34/35 (not sure how the 35 p15 exh housing would cope with a 2.5..?!), decat then remap. That would be well worth doing, as the 2.5 has injectors as std to cope and the low down grunt to make a really good fast road motor. You should headline around 330bhp with nearer 350 ft-lb torque..

A TD05 18g would be a very good turbo, but they cost a lot more and then there's a issue of gearbox reliability, although the latest 2.5 5sp should be able to handle it. That would be my choice for a great 2.5 fast road setup..

You'd need to fit an STI (05>) TMIC and undertray (piece of pish to fit), but getting a good one at less that £250 might prove difficult..!

Then you'll need to address the brakes, big time....!
