Default UPRATED FUEL PUMPS

Anybody know the correct walbro pump i need for a version 6 STI & any good fitting tips ?
Also i've heard that the fuel pressure can be weaker on one side of the engine, is this true & would an uprated pump solve this ??
Cheers

Best thing to do is pop your old one out and check it.

My year 2000 (V6) is different to my 1999 (V5)

One pump has the inlet and outlet opposite and one is offset. The wrong one can be made to fit though but thought I'd give you a heads up as most people just sell them as 92-00 and in my experience the V6 cars use the same orientation as the newer 01> cars.

Think it's after a certain month on year 2000 they change to the newer pumps.

Mine is an X reg 2000, so gotta be after august 2000.

Some people list them on ebay for 93-00 except P1 (which is late 2000>)

Chances are it'll be the same as yours but I just thought I'd let him know my experience with them.
