6kg for titanium cat back

i dont quite understand the weights on rcms site.. says 4.9kg boxed weight.. 12. 34kg volumetic weight .. on both the rear silencer and center section..

how much weight would i be saving then? its not close to 20kg is it?

for the downpipe it says 5kg boxed, and 21.56 voljumetric, take it the full turbo back system is approx 15kg?

so if i get a titanium downpipe ill be saving around 5kg? might not be worth it

Seems such a shame for me to spoil the 'purity' of your coversation with yourself LOL

I think the volumetric wieght is what has to be declared to couriers for obtaining a delivery pricing i.e. assume that, because evry object has a definite H x W x D, then it relates to having that displaced 'box' of volume 'full up' of weight (don't really know how it works TBH)

Regardless of all that shenanigans, I'm certain the lower figure is, indeed, the 'actual' weight

Yes Pete. I love seeing threads where the OP 'goes into one' and posts loads of posts before anyone has added their twopenn''eth... fairly cracks me up, that.
