I have just bought a second hand exhaust off egay, but after going out in a scooby today with a race pipe on it was horrible.
There was a huge droning noise and even when it was revving it diddn't sound great, just loud. Is this a bad example or much of a muchness?
I'm thinking this must be a bad example as why would people pay good money for a nasty noise!
What are your thoughts on race pipes and is there anyone in the northampton, milky beans, banbury area with a louder than standard exhaust I can come and see as I don't fancy going to a meeting.

This is what I bought Subaru WRX Exhaust on eBay, also Exhaust Components, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 25-Jan-09 15:47:49 GMT) and also some stainless header pipes for £40

I have no idea feller! it has no name stamped on it that I can see, it does have a couple of plates spot welded on, they might lead to a maker, I'll look tomorrow.
