Hi I am running simtek on 2.5 in a classic
Simteck has the facility to recognise knock.
When it does the way it indictaes it is a quick flash of the check engine light.

My car is getting the very occasional flicker of the check engine light.
So ....
1. Is this ficker the equivalent of getting a flicker of red on a knock link?
Therefore
2. If you are running a knock link and get the occasional flicker of red. Is it nothing to worry about. You have seen the flicker of red - eased of calmed things down and all is ok again untill your next flicker a week later.
Or if the knocklink ever shows red more than once - you need to get the car looked at?

(had it flicker for half a second once today and once yesterday)

If it does it on your next tank of fuel then take it back to mapper.
Dont repeatedly allow light to flicker
