how much quicker is a 460bhp 2.5 compared to a 400bhp 2.0 also on the road is there much difference between 460bhp and 500bhp? its in a newage.

The main thing is the 2.5 will come on boost a lot faster! A 2.0 with anything over 400bhp will not kick in till about 4k Lovely kick up the bum that!

 

On the road the 2.5 (all things being equal) will be a much better and flexible drive.

I run a 500+bhp Newage on a 2.5ltr. It is too much power for road use.

It's not all about bhp.... the extra torque on a 2.5 is awesome.

 

I had a gt3076 on a 2ltr and on a 2.5ltr and if I had to be honest I prefered it on the 2ltr. The lbs are down as compared with a 2.5ltr but when the turbo comes in on the 2ltr is more

 

It's all very much dependant upon the torque curve really.

As the motorcycle industry say, BHP sells bikes but torque wins races!
