Default downpipe lambda thread size

can anyone tell me the thread size of the lambda sensor closest to the turbo on a 97 type r. reason im asking is ive got a downpipe with a damaged thread an am going to get it repaired regardds tony

18mm wide X 1.5mm pitch

You can buy a tap from Snap-On

No doubt when the lambda sensor was removed the thread was trashed in the process.
If this is the case would a larger thread than the standard one be required?
