I was driving today and I had smoke coming from the air vents inside my car. turn off the blowers but it still kept coming any ideas whats wrong???
I went under the bonnet and all seems fine there I was thinking the heater thingy has gone behind the dash, I hope not though coz its a bit cold to be changing that this weekend!!

 

what colour is the smoke? blue/grey or white?

 

Your heater core just died...........

 

Sounds like its leaking as mentioned above will have to be changed or welded if possible (dependent on location of leak)

 

Is the heater core the same thing as heater matrix??? I established later that the smoke was actually steam. so i have bought a spare heater box which I am going to change today. Thanks for the help guys
