Default squeak near cambelt

Hi, can anyone please help! my car has developed a squeak from somewhere near the passenger side cambelt cover, it sounded like the fanbelt was a bit loose but under closer inspection it seems to be coming from under the cambelt cover. Damaged belt or pulley maybe!?? anyone any ideas??

dont use it and get it checked out! it might be worthwhilst tightening the alternator and ac belts as well though as they do squeal when loose.

could be one of the cam pulleys on its way out or the belt could be shagged. personally id not risk it and get it to a garage asap.

Could be an issue with one of the timing belt idler bearings where it has run dry.....be safe rather than sorry as Subaru engines can cost a lot to rebuild if it leads to it, Get it checked ASAP.

Good Luck i hope it's nothing major.
