5th gear is a hell of a lot easier to do than other gears.
you can change it just by removing the centre diff (which I think can be done in place on your car)......so no need to split the entire box

Try Api, Grade A, etc Im sure they will have plenty of broken UK boxes that they will be willing to sell the 5th gear out of, just in the process of having mine done

Dont do it. It ruins the feel of the car.

The jump is too big 4th to 5th.

Put it this way i built up a box with the longer 5th, it stayed in the car for a month tops before it was sold and a std ratio box fitted.

Do it at your peril, well your eyes open at least. lol

All the info you need to work out speeds and drop in revs etc.
