looking to buy a used head as i messed mine up bad so its scrap.

how much are they approx. car is a v4 wrx, but got sti v4 cams. if that makes a diff to the head type

 

Head castings are the same for the WRX/STi on the version 3~4.
Try ringing around the specialists who are on here to see if they have a single head or try the Wanted section.

also depends what head you need, i just sold a set of heads to a guy at the weekend coz one of his cracked, he will prob sell the other casting if its the right side, pm me your number and i'll forward it on to him.

 

ive got a spare head mate. Its a WRX complete but you can use the shell. Its been tested and got the receipt to prove. Let me know if your interested.

What age is the car? I have a engine in my garage taking up space and the bottom end died but the heads are fine as I was going to port them and sell them.
