Default Facelift differences

hi very quick question;

i know the front bumper, grill, head lights and bonnet are all revised for the facelift classics, but is this all? I take it the wings are the same and therefore the side lights are too? Just trying to source bits for my injured MY97 wrx and seem to be alot more pre-facelift parts kicking about.

thanks for looking
regards, Ash

Yes that is correct.

I have a facelift bonnet if you need one.. not sure on going rate..
would need collecting from Kent though.

You're like a bullet from a gun Simon! thanks for clearing that up, should be able to get a wing from a black MY95 then which makes life a bit easier!

thanks for offering the bonnet Ebay recons about £100 and quite often a bit more tbh. I'm in aberdeen so i'll decline your kind offer

oh i just thought, does the facelift remain the same essentially right up till the classic is discontinued? just some confusing "will fit 98-99 classic" stuff on ebay

bonnet 97~99 same expect there is steel or ally version.

lights 97~98 are not crystal but 99~00 are

97~98 bumpers are same a 94~96.. 99~00 have a different bumper and grill.. although the difference in the grill is only the honeycomb effect so very minor..

Being pedantic (sorry ), but worth pointing out anyway... The MY97/98 grille is 'flat', whereas the MY99/00 one protrudes out in front of headlight level by about an inch - looks more aggressive.

Also, if it's of any interest to the OP, the MY97-00 rear bumper has a cleaner-looking smoothed-in accent line to it, rather than the MY93-96's moulded-in 'insert'.

I will check as I have both here may have to swap it when I fit the 00 bumper that has just been sprayed up

Yes, defo fit the 99/00 grille too - you'll soon see the difference is for the better (looks much nicer with the hexagon honeycomb and the protrusion IMHO )

Ash, good news! Classic wagon/saloon rear bumpers are of the same pattern, so are all interchangeable through all model years.
