When im hard on the brakes i loose a bit of feeling in the clutch pedal, as in hard on brakes upto the light and as i slow down and push the clutch pedal it seems very low???? then when i pull away sometimes the bit has moved lower to. very strange but hope someone can shed some light on the subject.

Could be due to the builkhead flexing slightly, but why the biting point would move again am not sure. I got a brace for the brake master cylinder off e-bay and that improved things nicely.

Thanks il look into that, ive also noticed that some people have a spring and square block looking thing 'sorry for the tech terms', on the clutch fork/slave cylinder area. Mine has got the spring but no square bit??? Does this mean anything to anyone???
My car is an STI 3, 1997.
