It means that when the oil is hot the oil pressure will be too high so the pressure relief bypass opens and returns the oil flow to the sump instead of pushing the oil flow to the bearings that need cooling/lubricating.

See here post 15

Sorry I forgot the link, posted in a hurry

I use silkolene pro S 10w50, scoobynet members get 10% off at opie oils - and occasionally special offers. Was a further 15% off till the 26th November which meant I got 20l of it for £136 + delivery which works out at £34 for 5 litres - a bargain for such good oil.

Defo not worth scrimping on oil, if you think about the amount of money you spend on petrol over the life of the oil and compare it to the £20 difference between good oil and not so good oil its a no brainer. Can recommend opie - used them 3 times now and service is always flawless.

Another bump for OPIE oils, used them in the past for pro s and they were excellent. I've got millers CFS 10w 60 in at the moment but I'm gonna go back to pro s 10w 50 at the next change. I know this sounds stupid but the car just felt smoother.

On scoobies, it's the *w figure that you have to worry about. Don't go lower than a 10 as it is too thin. I always used mobil 1 15w50.
