When having a Scooby Dyno'd are there settings the operator uses for different gear ratios, diff ratios and also the gear the car is run in or is it one size fits all,if you like.

The dyno operator will have settings for it.

On Dyno Dynamics they tend to run in 3rd gear and use an rpm pickup to ascertain the engine speed.

On Dastek, they can either run an rpm pickup or use a 'learn' facility afaik to tally wheel speed to rpm at 3000 rpm.
