Anyone know what this problem is?

got AVCR fitted ,but since yesterday the apexi solenoid in engine bay is clikking like mad as soon as you turn on ignition but when engine is runing it stops clikking and car runs sweat but as soon as you turn it off starts clikking again
anyone got any ideas

 

the AVCR solenoid should click as it comes on boost and is building boost etc..

not just powered.. suggest it is wiring wrong? although it works fine..?

I would agree just fitted one to mine and although all the setting are out tried it up the road when boost comees on loud clicking noise double check all wiring rpm signal........ect.

 

hi its on the RA you mapped in dorset over a week ago with the gem's ecu ,if you rember it made a clikking sound then ,but stoped and was ok but now it is clikking nostop when engine is not running with ignition turned on,will check the wireing tomorrow to see if any thing has come off or touching body.

Yes I remember and the strange occasional click.

Has the wiring to the solenoid been altered? wonder if it is wired the wrong way arounf at the solenoid.. it worked perfectly as you say when mapping etc..
