Default Anyone help with this ecu chip

Has anyone seen this chip before. Any info on it would be great.
Also it has two wires coming off the ecu that are joined together, I have not a clue why.

could be a vos chip?
the wire coming off the ecu are to allow you to use either the map on the chip or the map on the ecu, i,e flick between fast map and normal map.

Would that be the name of the chip or just the type of chip.

Is it re-mapable then? I have seen a little about scoobyecu's but just want to know the limits of it.

One of my early ScoobyECU mods.
The Label on it tells me It's mapped to 16.5psi and suitable for an STi 2 RA.

Very early version though (Version 1 as it says) and have revised/tweaked lots since then. probably been running a car for about 6 years+ so if it's in an Sti 2 RA then I wouldn't worry too much about it's suitability as it's done a few years so far.

Although you do say it's got 2-wires coming off that are joined. This means the J1 link has been joined, so the ECU is not using the maps on the chip, but the standard ECU map. The standard ECU for the STi 2 RA should be labelled 7K. If it isn't then it's in the wrong ECU and I would advise against running it in a regular WRX.
