Did you take it over 5500rpm before getting it mapped? I've got the same problem with reving with mine . Been told my heads are no good as the cams are to mild for 2.5 mine's a 94wrx .Phase 1 heads seem to have this problem . Was advised to get a set of STi3 or 4 heads . What model is yours? 93-96 ? or 96 on?

What turbo are you on? 16g? That and ph1 heads is probably the reason you don't get much past 5500.

What have Zen said about it? Are they aware of your concerns?

it should still rev past 5500rpm!

is it not revving past at all, or is it down on power and feels flat over 5500 ?

two totally different things!

fwiw mine is running v3 heads and a 16g turbo

Mine was mapped on a 18g flat line 1.5 bar which would start to give up bout 5k but by 5500rpm it really started to struggle. If i set the boost controller to 1.1 bar from 5k it's fine. Try that and if so i think the head's could be your problem. At 1 bar my car drive's very well right up to 7k limit
