ive brought a ebay short shifter & currently fitting it & ive run into a few problems should be simple but turning out to be a nightmare, the snap rings dont seem to have much spring in them & dont sit very deep in the holes & the rods now come off the bottom bearing part whilst still stuck in flipping hole can anyone help whos fitted one? thanks

 

anybody? its been left for tonight ran outta patience will try & get some decent snap rings tommorow

 

Can you open snap ring out a bit before fitting it? is it in the grove fully?I never had any problems with my ebay jobbie.

 

the snap rings dont seem to have much spring, you open them out & the they dont seem to spring back how they was & the groves dont seem very deep to hold them, problem ive now got is the bottom clip has come off once fitted so the rods come out & now some how got to get the bearing bit out, god knows how im going to do this
