Really quick question regarding a fuel pump regulator!
Hi there.
The car in question is the 97 wrx v3.
There are three pipes coming through the bulkhead/firewall. One that go's through the filter and sits on top when it reaches the metal piping (near the manifold & must be the fuel-in line), one in the middle (guessing this is the return pipe) and the other one which sits on the bottom when reaching the metal piping (what ever that one does?)
Is this right, or am I going to explode on full throttle?
Many thanks
Ps..... any suggestions on how to fit a fpr will be fantastic, as the instructions are in japanese. If you squint it looks like english.

You're correct - Where the rubber fuel hose joins the manifold hard lines the top is feed and middle is return.
The third hose is the fuel tank breather, and ends up at the charcoal cannister on the OSF of the engine bay.
Fitting an aftermarket fuel regulator involves replacing the stock reg. ( on the rear of the OS fuel rail) for a 90 degree elbow, then relocating the aftermarket reg to the bulkhead or similar location.
