will a 1998 uk terzo engine fit my wrx import.will i have any issues performance,coil packs etc etc...

 

More than a BTT than useful information, but I think you need to get a version I or II engine (late 1992-1996?).
I opted for another V2 engine when the bottom end let go on mine. Despite recommendations I went for a recon of eBay (SMR), I've now done 20K on it with increase boost and fueling via a ESL chip. So far, so good (touch wood).
Out of interest, why are you replacing the whole unit...? Unless it's really terminal, it might be more cost effective to rebuild?

 

ive been quoted about £1200 rebuild..you can get engines a lot cheaper idealy i would prefare rebuild but cash is tight and christmas approching(i only have £400 at moment)
