hey guys

My 2001 JDM Bugeye has been perfroming perfectly, until today.

The engine management light has come on and the speedo has stopped working.

The car also wont rev past about 5500 RPM. is this a fail safe as the engine management light is on? on another problem also.

I dont think it is related, but i did fit a set of Cusco Coilovers, and this is the first time i have driven it since. But like mentioned, dont think it would be related, as its only 5 bolt seach side.

Where is the speedo unit on these cars? on the gearbox??

If anyone could shed any light or assist me!! pretty please

with no speedo input to ecu it will limit the rpm to 5000rpm..

speedo drive is on the drivers side of the gearbox

do you think its related to the coilovers i fitted?

or just a coincidence that it went at same time?
