Default DASH ILLUMINATION

help please
i have changed the dash bulbs behind the clocks to leds, one 1st attempt all but one worked, so took bulb out turned led other way round . now none of them work i have replaced with standard bulbs and they dont work. everything else lights up as it should but when i turn my lights on the dashboard still stays dark. i have checked the fuses and they appear to be ok.
any help much appreciated

You have connected the cables to speedo housing correctly ?

i have made sure they all clicked and all the gauges work fine just no lights

Which fuses did you check ?

The ones in the engine bay or the ones next to the accelerator pedal.
As its the fusebox next the pedal you want.

had them all out and they seem fine. will the dash have its own fuse or part of another circuit cos i have checked everything electrical and it all works. im well stumped
