Question Block half sealant

Hi, just wondered what the options were with regards to sealants for assembling engine block halves, i know about the threebond 1215 subaru use but isn't there a loctite equivalant? and where's the best place to buy it? Thanks in advance, Neil.

Why not go for threebond 1215? It`s teh shiz and it`s proven. It`s not that expensive either.

I think I got my Threebond off ebay. Just make sure you get the 1215 and not any other type. There is a Loctite equivalent but I can't remember what it is.
