First off i have been using the search feature for 2 days and can find no definative anser to this.

I am blocking off my dump valve system i have some samco pipes from my old vta. My car is a 99 uk with a td04 wich i hear can take the shock of it, question is can my maf?.(still on green panel and airbox with no plans to change it).

Is there anything i should watch for and have any owners who have done this had any maf issues?.
