Default What grade of motul oil

Alot of peeps saying to go for Motul 15w-50, which seems to come in 4ltrs.

however noticed that Mocom are doing a 6ltr service pack of Motul 10w-40 including filter and sump plug for £56.

Whats the difference??

Car is a 2003 Newage STI running 380ish Bhp and gets well driven

I have a 05 sti, 340 bhpish and always use motul 5w40 or 10w40. For some reason car always felt better on the 5w40, but not huge difference - but could feel it a bit. Never tried 15w. And car is driven really hard

The 10 40 is probably a semi synth oil, the 15 50 is fully synth, if you want synthetic you could also try the 5 40 motul competition

The Motul 10/40 is a fully synthetic Tony.

Used both the 10/40 and 15/50 in mine - for this time of year though 10/40 has to be the choice.
