Differences between Newage and Classic Prodrive exhaust
I recently changed my Prodrive back box on my MY00 UK Turbo PPP from the original version to a newer box for the MY05 STi.
I immediatly noticed that the box feels lighter and when fitted to the car is quite a bit noisier especially when warm.
Is the newage box packed with much less sound absorbing material? Is it possible to cut the box open and pack more in. Would this help?
I have been told that the newage box flows better than the Classic so would like to keep it rather than reverting to a Classic box.
Hope someone can help. If not is there someone I can contact who will now?

Also, isn't the New Age downpipe slightly longer? So, if you were to fit it on a Classic - but still using the Classic centre section and back box - then wouldn't that throw their hangers out of position? (As well as having the tailpipe sticking out beyond the bumper a lot.)
Or am I talking crap?

yes the UKDM 2pce down pipe wouldn't mate to a claasic style ecntre / back box due to differences in length BUT you could use a complete system turbo back on each other
