Default Impreza type R Diff

Hey!!

Iam going to be purchasing a classic impreza typr R from japan. The only one query I had before buying it, was how good is the limited slip diff in them, are they fairly bulletproof? because Ive heard a few stories of it costing thousands to repair.

On the dash there is a digital display how does this work in otherwards what does it tell you?

thanks

I assume you're talking about the dccd centre diff?
The rear diff will cost £300 ish to replace.
I sold my last dccd centre diff for £250.
not a lot.
yes bullet proof, but what do you class as bullet proof?
