Default Getting my first import

SO im currently looking to buy an 01 wrx import, its comming from a private seller, and i dont think he really knows much about it... Would it be worth my while getting it into somewhere like scoobyclinic to have a butchers and maybe even remap the ecu and fuel reg to give me piece of mind on the fueling side of things...

I do have enough cash to get a performance package off them + fuel reg

Would it be worth it..

Check the front brakes, normally the JDM WRX's of this age come with 2 pots and not the subaru 4 pot brakes (a minor downside considering it has 250ps) but you can get it remapped for uk fuel, I would suggest that if its not a complete bargain, look for a uk car instead
