Hi again Taffy

Yes, I'm pretty certain all Classic (92-00) have airboxes that accept the same size rectangular panel filters.

If I was you i'd go for the HKS Hybrid. Osaka on Newport Road in Cardiff have them for about £34.

Get it! Bargain. They're between £30-40 new.

Also there's nowt wrong with the Green - recommended by many on here, including the tuners/gurus. It has a good flow rate, etc. (I have one fitted too as part of Zen's service schedule).

For a tenner, it's a no-brainer AFAIC!

P.S. Just make sure that the ambient air side of the filter is nearly as clean as the filtered engine side (light dusting of dirt particles at worst)! If it's only been on for a day, it's what you'd expect.

If it's quite black, then there's no way it will have been on for a day... unless he drove his car right through a coalmine for 24 hours! LOL.
